RULES OF ETHICS

on copyright material published in journal "Materialy Budowlane"

(developed on the basis of the guidelines Committee on Publication Ethics – COPE)

"Materialy Budowlane" as a scientific journal is obliged to take action to comply with the rules of ethics in scientific publications, publishing high quality research papers, to ensure the highest editorial standards, as well as responding to all forms of scientific misconduct and unethical conduct in science. Any detected signs of scientific misconduct and unethical conduct, will be documented and disclosed, including notification of the entities (eg. The institutions employing the authors, scientific societies, editors of other magazines). Observance of ethical principles expected of all participants in the process of publication: authors, editors, reviewers and publishers.

Responsibilities Editor

1) Editor evaluates the submitted scientific article fully, objectively and fairly without discriminating against the authors based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, political beliefs, ethnicity and geography. Their decisions are made solely on the basis of the content of the material analyzed, taking into account its originality, scientific value, clarity of presentation issues, the validity of studies or information for the scientific and technical progress in the field.

Reviewer's Responsibilities

The process of review of a research article is intended to support the Editor in Chief and Editorial Board to decide on its publication in the journal, and any indication of the authors of these elements in their work that need to improve or supplement.

1) The reviewer should objectively assess whether it can undertake the preparation of a scientific review article, taking account of the substantive scope and identified by the editorial staff of the time frame.

Responsibilities Author

1) The author sends to the Editor Only original papers, previously unpublished in other journals or conference proceedings and declares that he is entitled to dispose of these materials. It is unacceptable at the same time submitting articles to several magazines.

2) Article should take into account the current state of knowledge in a particular field and be prepared taking into account the guidelines Editorial Board, in particular concerning the proper citation of sources (Chicago style). Proceedings in the case of stated scientific misconduct and unethical practices
